HORWICH
engine.
An interesting
model, dating from the late 19th century.
The
engine was owned by a Mr. Winstanley, who died
in 1997 at the age of 91, and whose grand-father
was employed at Horwich Locomotive Works.
It is
believed that the model was built by him during
his time at the works.
