Turntable Installation Modules
 |
To
facilitate location into the layout, a modular
Installation
Kit is available for each of the turntables
in the range. These kits enable the well and base
to be constructed off-site, then installed into
the layout as a completed unit, after testing
to ensure that the turntable operates satisfactorily.
Consequently, there is no requirement for cutting
a large diameter hole in the layout baseboard.
The
Modules consist of square MDF (Medium Density
Fibreboard) boards, 300 x 300mm (4mm scale), 500
x 500mm (7mm scale, up to 50ft. diameter) or 600
x 600mm (7mm scale, 60ft. diameter and above)
and include nickel silver rails, slide-on chairs
and pins, spacers and screws. Plywood sheet is
also supplied to form the sidewalls and the segmented
concave floor of the well.

NOTE
FOR OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS Due to the
weight of TIM2 & TIM3 products, (<3Kg.)
and the consequent cost of postage, it is our
intention to introduce an export version of these
kits which can be sent using the British Post
Office (BPO) Airmail Small Packet Tariff (2Kg.)
These
kits will consist of the following:
Screws,
pillars, spacers
Rail
(pre-curved), rail chairs and pins
Plywood
side-walls and floor segments
Driving
disk
In addition,
dimensioned drawings will be included to enable
the customer to construct the Module from locally-sourced
MDF, together with details of how to construct
a simple rotary jig to facilitate accurate cutting
of the well. Details will be published
when kits available.
