A-Frame*
This
product has been developed to fulfil the need for a
quick, safe and convenient means of holding gauge 1
locomotives - steam or electric - for the purpose of
servicing and adjusting.
In
use, the A-FRAME supports
the locomotive by the shanks of the buffers and, in
the case of tender locos, by the tender drawbar also.
All parts of the loco are constrained within the extremities
of the frame, such that nothing comes into contact with
the workbench, thus avoiding the possibility of damage
to paintwork.
For
added versatility, the drawbar support ends are removable,
to enable the user to customise these fittings in order
to accommodate different styles of loco-tender coupling.
