GEARED ROLLING BARS

These are used to form curved , cylindrical or conical shapes from flat sheet. The metal is gripped between the geared traction rollers and rolled back and forth whilst adjusting the third forming roller. The diameter of the rollers varies according to their length, and determines the minimum diameter of a closed cylinder which can be formed. The maximum thickness which can be rolled assumes the use of brass or nickel-silver material. For ease of packaging and safety in transit, tools are supplied dis-assembled. Assembly takes just a few minutes.
